From hesitation to creation.
I’ve always been fascinated by rhythm — in music, in design, and in human momentum. The name ScatFlow came from the spirit of scat singing — fearless, fast, and improvisational. It represents that moment when hesitation fades and creativity takes over — pure flow.
For years, I had ideas I deeply believed in — some even went as far as provisional patents. But without the right partners, resources, or guidance, they stayed trapped on paper. At Simon Fraser University (SFU), even the dean told me, “If you think you can do it, drop out and spend your time building what you believe.” He didn’t offer a roadmap — no direction, no path — just a push.
But I hesitated. What if it doesn’t work? How do I find a partner to talk to? Who will help me create the project? Those questions kept me stuck.
That feeling — of having a vision but no one to build it with — became the seed for ScatFlow. I built this to help others like me move faster, together. To turn hesitation into motion. ScatFlow is how we build the world I needed at 22 — and now, it’s for everyone who’s ready to start.
